The Advanced Manufacturing training program is designed to prepare individuals for careers in modern manufacturing and production environments by developing the technical, safety, and hands-on skills required on today’s advanced manufacturing floors. This short-term workforce training program is ideal for adults looking to enter the manufacturing industry, advance their current skills, or transition into a stable, higher-paying technical career.

The Advanced Manufacturing course typically covers a wide range of in-demand manufacturing skills, including robotics and automation, industrial safety (OSHA), fundamentals of electricity, and reading CAD and engineering drawings. Students also prepare to earn the Certified Production Technician (CPT 4.0) credential, an industry-recognized manufacturing certification that is valued by employers across production, automation, and industrial sectors.

The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on technical training, giving students the opportunity to work with real manufacturing equipment and modern technology. This experiential learning approach helps students build confidence, develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and understand real-world manufacturing processes used by employers.
